Smith's Maple Products is now a division of SPRING BREAK MAPLE & HONEY. A Maine-based Maple products business operated in our kitchen where our maple candies are made in small batches to ensure the best quality maple sugar candy on the market. We feature a full product line including 100% Pure Maine Maple Syrup and Maine Maple Sugar Candy. We pack and distribute all of our Maple Syrup and Maple Candies ourselves, and all our products are of the highest quality and meet or exceed all State and Federal standards dealing with sugar content and grading in Maple Syrup. This site is dedicated to Bob & Barbara Smith who became the largest MAINE maple candy business in the State. The Smith's started sugaring in 1964 with 1800 roadside trees with buckets. Bob's sugarhouse was in-town Skowhegan and he made nearly 400 gallons of syrup, selling it for $6.00 a gallon. In 1978 the Smith's bought out a maple syrup and maple candy business and continued to grow for 28 years with 5000 buckets. During this time their maple candy business took off as well with Barbara making candy in her kitchen on a daily basis to fill orders for stores across the state. This tradition is still being carried on in our kitchen. As new Owners we look forward to meeting all of their customers.
